What is the recommended page file size if i have 512MB on my laptop. I have
moved my page file to anothere partiton on my harddrive and there is no page
file now on C: Drive. Can it effect system performance?

I have been reading the many threads & answers for sytem restore, but I
still cannot get mine to restore to an earlier date.
I have rebooted in safe mode and tried again to no avail.
All restore points are visible - along with their respective descriptions.

All of a sudden I can't burn CD's. When I tried I got a message saying that I
don't have a CD Burner, but I most definately do. How do I fix this? My
program said to make sure it was installed properly, but it came

I have a file that I cannot access, open, move, edit, or delete.  It seems
to be "frozen" in its folder.  How can I unfreeze it?  I'm using Win MCE (XP

Until yesterday my computer was booting perfectly fine, but today morning I
found out that suddenly the booting is extremely slow. That too at the time
its doing the POST.

When I try to defrag I get a messsage saying Disk Defrag has
detected that Chcdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: (D). Please run
Chcdsk/f.  but the problem is everytime i start my computer its runs chk dsk

I’m trying to use Scheduled Tasks to set up some maintenance plans on my XP
system. My question is: surely, all this feature does is open the program in
question? How can I make sure that the program opens and performs the correct
task?
