my computer has no sound on my computer. I have gone to control panel, sounds
speech and audio devices and then i click sounds and audio devices. The
volume tab says i no audio device but i dont have any idea what to do..

I was told that something was wrong with my bios configuration in my C Drive.
I cannot access my C drive from My Computer.  Does anyone know what is going

I have a laptop with windows xp media center edition 2005, wich is a MUI OS.
The language I'm running is Portuguese (PT).
The battery energy icon indications appear in Portuguese but the schemes of

I ran defragmenter to try and improve performance on my 20 GB hard disk.  
There was about 20% free space when it started.  After a few minutes, it had
got to 1% complete, and had filled up the remaining free space with what I
presume are temporary files.  Then it just stopped.  ...
