we have windows xp and it is slow keeps freezing up , pausing we did have

Recently I have been getting wierd ie 7 errors,not errors per say ,system
restarts during ie7  operation and surfing . Error log shows many strange
things,memory causing hardware error,driver error causing problem,i even
tried removing mcafee and all ie 7 add ons,even google yes ...

I keep getting a yellow triangle in my task bar saying my Windows Virtual
Memory is too low.
I have gone into System / Advanced / and it is set @ 1534 which was

A while ago I placed the Disk Cleanup from the All Programs menu on my
Desktop to remind me to run the program ever so often but, I think, the
Desktop Wizard got rid of the Disk Cleanup icon and now I don't have an icon

I'm trying to clean up my hard drive...beyond what Microsoft's Disk Cleanup
will do.  I notice scores of folders in my Windows Temp folder with names
"mcu1A.temp", or mcu1B, mcu1C, etc.  May I just delete these folders?  They
contain files named *.mcaf.

Hi all - I've been having issues with svchost running at high cpu's - haven't
been running windows update or anything, but i checked in process explorer --

When I turn on my computer and it is running through boot process just before
it starts to load the programs in the system tray, the computer beeps 3 to 4

My laptop works fine when plugged into an outlet.  When it runs on battery,

3 times over the past 3 days, Windows has rebooted itself w/o prompting.  
Each time I was doing something different.  After rebooting, I get an error
message that says Windows has recovered from a serious error and a log has
been created.  The last log read as follows:
