When I boot my PC, I am asked to choose between WindowsXP and WindowsXP (1).
I know how it got there, just don't know how to get rid of it. I know I need
to go to "Start", "Control Panel", etc until I get to the actual wording.

This is for the brains trust re: folders as above mentioned, these folders

I have tried to create scheduled tasks to scan utilities and disk cleanup. I
get the error message : "Ox80070005 Access denied You do not have perission
to perform the requested operation." I am the only user on the computer.

Sometimes when my system boots up I get the following error:
“Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are
sorry for the inconvenience”.

On task manager, the system idle process percentage keeps going to around 99
percent, how do I get it back down? The last problem I remember having was
that I was editing a movie and the program froze and thats it; how do I get
the percentage down to normal?? Thanks

I really messed up. I put a bunch of files into a folder and copied them onto
a disk. The disk ended up being corrupted and so are the files.  Besides
indicating that the files are corrupted, the folder (in my c drive) says it
is empty.

I have this stange problem, my pc will restart after I shut it down. It
completely shuts down for about 30seconds and then it restarts. Sometimes the
