I have read something about that 32 bit OS like XP can't handle RAM memory
over 2 GB. I have today 2 GB RAM memory and plan to upgrade to 3 GB.

I have a Sony vaio which crashes whenever I use fn F7 to switch the graphics
output to a data projector. I'm sure it's a driver issue but can't get to the
bottom of this. The event log shows error number 1000007f  para 1 00000008

on D. I allowed this to run the first time it happened and it appeared to be
OK. However it now comes back every time I start up and I can't prevent it
from Reappearing each time.

Hello, I was curious if its possible to completely restore your computer or
your hard drive to how it was when you first bought your computer, or so
there is no unessential files on your hard drive.

How long does System Restore keep restore points??
I created 2 system restore points yesterday. I restored the first one ok
yesterday (the same day I created it and before I created the second)
Today SR said it couldn't restore the second restore point.
