i've done a fresh install of winxp home, after loading all motherboard
drivers, sound card, graphics etc and programs it takes over a minute to get

   Using XP Pro, until recently i was using this facility,  i did a system
restore and now have lost this function.
I have tried to set this again , comp returns another file or folder is

I'd like to completely wipe everything out and start from scratch.  Delete
the two 2 gig partitions on my drive, make one more like 3 gigs and one of
them 1 gig so I don't have to try moving files back and forth to make things
work.

My startup is really slow.
My user profile appears to be c. 4 Gb - contains (Itunes) music files,
photo's, documents etc. You name it, its there.
Assume I can speed up my reducing the size of my profile, but what's the

I installed aditional memory so now I have 2 GB, but after that Xp became
unstable restarting sometimes, and IE also stops some times with errors. I
already checked memory with memtest and it shows no errors. I have also set
virtual memory to "managed by system" and reinstalled ...

Ok basically just looking for the best route to switch users (About 300-400)
who are using printers on a current print server (Windows Server 2003 box),
we'll call print-serv1. So all the printers they use are currently on that

Since I removed my slave HDD it take 28 minutes to boot. There no error
messages and after boot it runs normally. So far took these actions:

Manager showing this Writer as working properly, it fails to to see full

and first in the list of options.  I can open them correctly if I right-mouse
