Under System -> Advanced tab -> Performance Options, I want to set the memory
usage to prefer "System Cache".

After a fresh XP Pro install, I immediately installed SP3, then went to look
for updates released after I downloaded SP3 (Which was a few months ago), But
everytime I run Windows Update, it tell's me there is no updates available...?

I tried to get ird of the trojan and then when I rebooted, it will not let me
login now.  I never had a login to begin with.  I tried the Admin acct and it
says restricted.  I know the virus is still in there but it should not have
locked me out.  Is there a way to get around the ...

why I should not delete all the $NTUninstall folders in my Windows
directory?

I am trying to do a backup (have been succesful in the past) using system
backup to an external drive.  All of a sudden I now get the error message
"Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:800423f4. Aborting
Backup."  What is this and how can I fix it? Can anyone ...

If i have more than 1 window open, and I try to close one of them I get an
error message, and it asks me if I want to send  the error or not. What ever
i hit it closes all of the windows i have open. can some one please help and
tell me what to do?

I have 3 PCs and a laptop all running XP (Home, Pro and Media).   Last week I
downloaded SP3, and installed it successfully on the 3 PCs - but installation
on the laptop failed on each of three attempts.   On the PCs I simply ran the
