Please can you help? I can't access email attachments or download software as I get a message saying the file or path can't be found and I may not have the right permissions. This has only happened recently so what have I done or not done?

Right click>open or double click pdf file, I receive the following: Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view this file. Would you like to install adobe now? Adobe Reader 8 is available. Please advise.

I installed a temp. bowser program that cleaned away your history for windows xp and my wife deleted it and the recycle bin. I got the the bin back on the desktop but it will not open or allow me to name it either as the recycle bin. I just won't my bin to be working again. HELP ...

removing an address book from my desktop , inadvertently I eliminated all my Accessories. Accessibilty,Communications, Entertainment, System tools, all show empty. How can I reinstall them without a complete reinstall of Windows?_

All of my links on my desktop or program list have my icons stripped and replaced with the standard non-descript placekeeper. When I click on any of them, including Word or Excel I get the message that Windows cannot open this file - search on the internet or pick from list.

PC sluggish even after running Norton 360. Task Manager shows over 90% System Idle Process AND %CPU Usage at bottom of dialog at 50% at the same time! I believe the %CPU number because other applications send it to 100% and everything crawls, (and %Idle still showing 80-90% ...

When XP compresses old files to save space, does it compress system files as well? Program files? Or only files created by user? Once those files are accesed again, are they automatically re-compressed? Or does that depend on running Disk Cleanup again? TIA -ira
