I was backing up my pictures onto a cd and got asked if I wanted to put them into HIGHMAT format. I figured what the heck. Well now I cannot get half the pictures. Can anybody tell me how I can retrieve and reformat my pic's to jpegs again?

In the file properties section under "comments" the keyword field is disabled for *.tiff files. Since I do all my photo scanning to tiff files to preserve their quality, this is unfortunate. Why is this so, and how can it be circumvented?

In My Picture folder when several photo images are selected and deleted they end up in the Recycle Bin (which should happen) but there are now copies of the supposedly deleted items showing in the My Picture Folder

Everytime I want to right click and save an image, it only allows me to save it as a bitmap (.bmp) even if it was an animated gif to start out. I know they're not supposed to be bitmap files when I save them, so why is it making that

Up till now we have been using a time-lapse VCR, which gives poor results. I want to buy a TV hard-disk drive and couple this to the (two) cameras we have. But I need software to allow time-interval grabs to give extended recording.
