I've been using sync toy for a week or so. The clocks changed in the UK
over the weekend (so my system clock automatically changed itself) and
now when I try to sync with my USB memory stick, sync toy says
EVERYTHING needs to be updated.

Hey! A little help please... Earlier this evening, I went to My Pictures to
try to back up a few folders on a cd. Well I clicked on an entire folder, and
instead of clicking on Copy to CD like I should have, I accidentally clicked
on Move This Folder, and I moved it to my CD ...

Sync files with the tilde (~) character do not seem to be sync'ing well. Is
this a known issue?

I have a friend who says he scanned his B/W 35mm negatives into his pc and
wants to know if there is any software (preferably freeware) which can
convert them into positves. I am not well up on working with photos.....can
anyone tell me if it is possible ?

I used to have the command under folder tasks to do this options, but now it

When I try and right-click save as for pictures, i don't get the option to
save the picture as a jpeg or gif, only art or bitmap... how do I change this?
Also, my pictures are not displayed with their file extensions, how do i
change this?

Using scheduling it is possible to run synctoy on startup.
However, I would like to automatically start synctoy just before the system
shuts down. It this possible?
If not, can this feature be added to SyncToy?

Really simple problem, when I print using the photo wizard for printing on XP
the colours are out.  When I print myself they are fine, so I know it is
nothing to do with my printer or ink.  Does anyone have any suggestions, it
has not always done this, but nothing has happened to ...

When I a copy photo from my hard drive to a CD the "Date Picture Taken"
information is no longer available with the photo.  I am using XP.  Is there

I have image files that are .tif and .jpg that were downloaded from another
computer.  The files may be called "fig 1002", etc. but have NO extention.  
The files are fine but I have to go in and add a file extention to them.  So
I do a "rename" and then simply add the .jpg ...

My software is Microsoft's Digital Image Suite and Library, Version 10,
runing on Intel Pentium IV, 1.7 GHz machine with WinXP-SR2. My machine
has a 40 GByte HDD C:/ drive and an 80 GByte HDD F:/ drive for backup.
Norton Ghost stores a backup copy of C:/ drive on the F:/ drive.

I have been trying to organize My Pictures and every time I highlight then
copy ( and have tried cut) and then go to the folder I want to move them to,
