I use Kodak Easy Share software to transfer my pictures from my camera to my
hard drive.  Doing a search using “*.jpg” I found a hundred pictures that I
thought had been deleted in:

Scenario:  I have a pair of folders that are synchronized using
'synchronize', and then make different updates to the same file in the left
and right folders. When I next run SyncToy, the later update is preserved on
both sides; the earlier update is lost!

does anyone know if there is a way to change the left folder address?
my network changed and the computer name/address i had set up in SyncToy was
(\\Home\c\etc...) but now doesn't work and i have to use the
address(\\192.168.0.109\c\) (i don't know why it doesn't work) but is ...

Have just tried to install Photo Info and it fails with the 'confusing
message' mentioned in the FAQ. I have tried to install WIC as suggested but
the installer tells me I already have a more up-to-date version of WIC

On startup from shutdown, recently and without apparent reason, Windows tries
to install a program called PhotoGallery.  I cannot say I have ever used
PhotoGallery, so the request for installation is surprising to me.  Further
it does not complete installation and requests a CD ...

When trying to view newly updated photos one night, we clicked the box to not
allow a rotation because, according to the message, it may cause the program
not to work properly.  Since then, Picture Viewer will not allow any rotation
of photos.  I have read the other questions ...

I just bought a new Canon sd750 and 4gb SanDick memory card - I went to check
the memory card and inserted it into my desktops reader slot and it wouldnt
load up - I then got my portable/take anywhere multi care reader and it
wouldnt acknowledge it either - the same for the card ...

I burned my first photo CD with all photos taken in 2006.  I had arranged all
folders in the order they were taken but on the CD they show up in
alphabetical order.  Is there a way to copy them and make them in
chronological order?

Everytime I view a Picture with any type of program ... photo gallery tries
to install and I no longer have the disks. how do I stop tthis because it
happenns 10 - 30 times in a row continuously. (Sigh)

I used windows explorer to sort about 1000 photos to develop a slide show.  
However, I can't get explorer to keep the sorted order.  If I try to copy the

When I first connected my camera to my computer through a USB cable I got a
window asking what method I wanted to use to view, print, etc. the files on
this device.  Since I only wanted to print my photos at the time, I chose to
have it open the Print Wizard and checked the box ...

error in device mgr/usb "unknown device" . .  the OS realizes a device has
been plugged in, but not what the device is . . . any ideas?  Other devices
like mouse, flash mem, etc are fine in the same physical port . . .
