In my notification area I have the printer icon, but when I click on it
there are no print jobs at all.  The icon won't go away.
It happened after I had some trouble with print jobs getting stuck and not
printing, but also refusing to be deleted.  I finally cleared out the two

We're starting to upgrade our machines to XP district-
wide and we've noticed that the Printer Status Icon
doesn't display in the Notification Area or System Tray.

I own a Sony Vaio desktop computer which has USB 2.0
ports and use Windows XP Professional .
I ran out of USB 2.0 ports on the back of the computer
and bought a 4 port USB 2.0 hub and a Parallel to USB
