i just upgraded to win xp proffessional.  i have a Compaq
6550.  for some reason the printer will not install from
epson install disk.  message i get is to check cables and
connections.  i tried downloading drivers for xp, but,

I am using XP Pro and have only one user with
administrator access and three users with Limited access.
The users with Limited access cannot open HP Director.

How can i connect a network printer to lpt1 if i'm a Windows XP user?
I can do it using administrator account but i can't as a user or poweruser.

I have workstations that are running Windows XP Professional and that use
Captaris RightFax faxing software. This works by using a standard HP
LaserJet4 printer driver that is setup to talk to the fax server.

Is there a way of configuring XP(home edition) to
recognise different ring tones? My incoming fax calls
have a different ring to my phone calls but the fax
console answers both if I set it to automatically receive
