Reinstalled win xp home version and it detects the hardware for setting up
printer.  It goes thru the motins and then prompts "HPVDJ50.ini not found.
I have some computer knowledge but not sure how to "install" this file from
my xp cd, which i believe is where the problem and "file" ...

and was directed to a support fix to erase the HLOCAL
registry key but am unable to erase it successfully,can

I can send faxes locally, but can't fax to long distance numbers.  When I
use dialling rules, in the fax monitor it looks like it is not putting the
area code in.  If I don't use rules and just type in the fax number, it
tells me the line is busy, which it is not.  I type +1 (999) ...

I have a problem trying to view a fax in Microsoft Fax
Console 5.1 (service pack 1).  I can send the fax with no
problem, but when I try to view the fax in the sent items
folder it gives me an error message that "image file is

After uninstalling and reinstalling my printer several
times, I'm told there is a virus causing my comuter to
disconnect my printer.  I can't wade through all the
jargon to find the patch.  Can anyone help me?
