hello, I am very unexperienced with my dell computer.  But I do have a problem: I have a lexmark x73 printer and I can't get the thing to work.  Everytime I try to acess it, all I get is that it's off line.  How do I get it On line? Can someone please help?

I have XP and just now installed the FAX Service.  I set up faxing, the phone rings and ans. on 2nd ring, message says it's receiving and I then get an errow message.  Have I left out a step or something as this is my first try

Somewhere along the line my fax stopped working. It is still in the printers
folder "ready" When I try to fax I get an error message "fax printer cannot

I have a new HP Pavilion a420n computer running XP Home.
Starting yesterday, everytime I boot a series of boxes popup attempting to
configure fax. It was pointing to a location that does not exist on my hard
drive to find fax.msi. I can't find that file any where on my hard drive.
