hello, I am very unexperienced with my dell computer. But I do have a problem: I have a lexmark x73 printer and I can't get the thing to work. Everytime I try to acess it, all I get is that it's off line. How do I get it On line? Can someone please help?

I have XP and just now installed the FAX Service. I set up faxing, the phone rings and ans. on 2nd ring, message says it's receiving and I then get an errow message. Have I left out a step or something as this is my first try Nan

I have run into a different variation on this theme. First off, I got the DOS program to print by following the previous recommendations to Share the printer in Windows, then running the following DOS command: NET USE LPT1: \\computer-name\printer-name /persistent:yes

Will the XP Fax Console only function with a dial up modem? I am using NTL Broadband and I am told by the FAX set up that I do not have a modem! Is their a way round this or am I missing something?

I have a new HP Pavilion a420n computer running XP Home. Starting yesterday, everytime I boot a series of boxes popup attempting to configure fax. It was pointing to a location that does not exist on my hard drive to find fax.msi. I can't find that file any where on my hard drive.
