We have a Unix app which will print to HP LJ IF the printer is a printserver, but will NOT print to a Ljet physically attached to an XP computer. (Unix print services has been installed.) The same Unix app will print to LJ's attached to Win98 computers.

I cannot get the add a printer wizard to open to install new printers, and all of the previously installed printers don't show up. Running XP, any ideas?

I Can't print in Microsoft document, wordpad or notepad. Followed troubleshooting- port is fine, all connections, can do a command prompt and will print email and photos. Also tried to copy and paste and that didn't work either.
