I have an XP workstation and need to print from DOS to LPT1:.
I type
net use lpt1: \\server\queue
and then type dir > lpt1:  - Prints OK.

I just started using a computer for sending and receiving faxes.  Is there a
software/hardware solution that will make the computer answer only if it is
a fax coming in.  I know stand alone fax machines can do this, but I like
getting my faxes on my computer so I can email them out ...

Still able to send and receive faxes but the fax monitor no longer works. Have un-set and re-set the properties on the 'Tracking' tab of the properties box, all without any effect. Even when launching the fax monitor manually before or during a fax send or receive does not work ...

I have a relatively old HP laserjet 4ml printer that has
worked fine until 2 days ago.
Suddendly, it stopped printing from the computer.
I manage to print the testpage without any problems.

I don't understand how your computer receives a fax when
sender doesn't have a phone number to send to...if I am
