Computer freezes when using Fax19 Aug 2004 10:12 GMT1
I have a XP Home Service Pack 1 using an Intel (r) 537 modem.Every time I
receive or send a fax the computer freezes.The computer will not switch off
from the tower.I do my cold reboot at the powerbar switch.Then everything
turns to normal, including the fax console.

each fax on a mapped network drive. This drive is always

I just got a new computer with Windows XP Home on it and a trial (2 months)
of  MS Office Student and Teacher.  I can fax with this setup by writing in
Word or incorporating a scan into a Word document and then
File>send>recipient using a fax modem.

I have WIN XP PRO and a HP LASERJET 5M connected to a small network. All PCs
print to this printer and all show the same problem.
When I print one page, the printer print it and print another page with the
message:

I'm not sure if this is the correct NG for this question...
I'm running XP and FaxConsole v5.1.  I can send and receive faxes just fine,
but when I select a fax in the Inbox and try to "View" it, nothing happens.
(no error, no hang, etc..)

I have the distinctive ring service on my phone line.  My
fax number uses the double ring.  Is there a way to set
up the fax to answer only on the double ring?  On my fax
machine it will recognize the distinctive ring.

I have just upgraded to win.xp and i can't get my printer
to download i i get a meg. that it's not compatible with
xp it's a canon 2110 but i have used win.xp in the past
and it worked fine then. can someone please help me

I have had nothing but trouble from this printer. I get a
mess. telling me the devise is busy or it jumps to "off
line " printing and the print job is in never land. I

page print?  Every time I print a web page, the last few
letters are missing.  Thanks for any help
