I am trying to fax to a remote fax device and I followed
the instructions in the fax console help and fax console
shows the printer as inaccessible eventho the "printers
and faxes" screen shows it ready - any suggestions? Has

I installed Service Pack 2 and it seems to work fine.  My
one big problem is that AmiPrint doesn't work.  I use
AmiPro 3.0 word processor from Lotus.  Yes, I know it's
out of date, but 10 years worth of documents are in that

In short: my company still uses old-fashioned MS-DOS
accounting software which can only print to local ports.
All company printers are connected through stand-alone
print servers. Up to now port redirection worked just

my PC is windows XP SP2.
I have a problem with the fax service - it doesn't start properly.
The status of the service in service control manager is "Stopping" and the
fax printer is inaccessible when opening the fax console.

Post Sp2 cannot print to any of the attached HP printers....everything says
it is setup correctly, but no printing.
This problem is a known issue with SP2 and HP drivers.  HP has advised

I am also having trouble with my Lexmark X75 printer. It has been working
fine for a year. Now when I want to print, I get horizontal streaks. I have
to clean the ink nozzles twice and set print status to "Best" before I can
get a good print. I have to do this every time I want ...
