Bidirectional support for LPT- and USB-ports27 Sep 2004 19:37 GMT1
the HP-Toolbox of a DeskJet 1220C is not able to monitor either LPT1 or any USB-port under WinXP.
HP release notes state, that under WinXP bidirectional support is not provided for local Parallel Port or local USB-ports.
Does anyone know, if this is correct?

After installing SP2 onto windows xp pro, we now get
print delays in office SB. If you were to hit file/print,
to print a file, you would have to wait for at least 45
seconds before the print dialog would even come up then

Since installing Adobe Photoshop when I click on Preview Fax in the Fax setup
wizard it opens Adobe Photoshop instead of Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. I
there a way to change that back to work with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer
without having to open an image editing ...

I am trying to fax a page from excel.  I have done this
many times before.  Now the fax wizard hangs up...if I
open the fax console, it gives the message "refreshing"
and never comes back.  Eventually it may come back with

Sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find a solution.
I had a home network with 3 Win98 machines.  Printing was fine.  I got a new
machine with XP Home Edition installed and attached it to the network
replacing one of the Win 98 machines.

Ever since I downloaded SP2 for XP I have to manually
reconnect my printer through the service directory. I
have imported new drivers, added the printer to the
exempt list for the firewall, and it still sends an error

I keep receiving that A1 and E1 error when i am trying to fax and
use the single feeder. It says paper jam,
