My OKI 10/ex crashed recently and I switched to an Epson Stylus Color 740.
Now I can?t get any printouts from my DOS-application. It worked fine with
the OKI. The printer is connected to LPT1. Printing from Windows works fine.
Whats the problem?

Get the driver installed onto computer but when it installs the printer it
tells me to check the connection, any ideas.  (already checked the
connections).  It is a USB connection.

I just installed Windows XP Service Pack 2. Now all my
printers are missing from the "Printers and Faxes"
Control Panel Item. Everything was gone including direct
connected printers, network printer, FAX, and Paperport.

Tried to print something to local printer which was on a
network and all of my printers went away!  When I try to
go back, I get a message "printer spooler not available."

The wizard does not provide all of the printing option
that it normally has. Two of the options one for printing
5x7 photos and the other for printing thumbnail photos
have disappeared. I have not been able to find any

system, Fax Console showed "Refreshing" on its status bar, but never

Now, whenever I receive a fax and double click on it to
view the fax, fax console shuts down. Any suggestions on

When I click on the fax icon the fax screen pops up but it read not
