I'm using XP Pro on a new Dell Dimension 8100, came with SP2.  Printing
to a local Brother MFC 2500.  I'm able to print docs from email or my
Internet browser, but when I try to print anything from Word or
Notepad, I get an error message saying the Print Failed.  After that, I

How do I fix it so this will not happen when I turn on my printer? It is
connected on a USB port and works fine. But the New Hardware message is a
pain.

I have had to reinstall Windows XP on my hard disk from scratch after a major
hardware failure. I have a backup of the old hard disk which should contain
all the old inbox and outbox fax files but I can't find them in the directory

Just got a brand new Dell, and had an intel faxmodem.
Activated my Windows XP fax, and am able to send faxes fine.

Ever since I installed SP2 I have been unable to start Winfax 10
So I thought i'd try Xp Fax.  When I first configured it I could send,
got a handshacking screech and then"error unable to send fax" or
something to that effect (I didn't write it down)

Cannot preview fax prior to sending as the window states.
Once the fax has been sent cannot view the sent fax but

Does andbody know what happens if you have 2 Pc's attached to the same phone
line (via line splitter) when you have both configured to auto-answer
incoming faxes.

turn on the computer or re-boot the fax picks up incoming
faxes correctly. After hours(?) or days (?), I suddenly

Does it have to be Windows 2003 SBS or can in be Windows 2003 Standard?
There seems to be some confusion about this. The software installs but doe
snot seem to function correctly.
