I am a reseller/consultant and I appear to be among the many who are
experiencing 30+ second delays in opening the print dialog from ANY program
running under Win XP SP2. My customer's brand new Win XP SP2 machine
exhibits this behavior every time he tries to access the HP LJ 6P ...

HELP -
I have just purchased the HP photosmart 8450 and I have XP Prof with sp 2
and I cannot get the printer driver to install, I tried installing with disk
from HP, I called HP (3 hours with support and nothing) XP says it cannot

I have two different printer/plotters hooked to my new computer that has XP
on it.  I don't like the new drivers for my HP DesignJet 2500cp because the
print window doesn't give me custom size options.  HP can't help.  Can
Microsoft?

The HP drivers available for XP on HP's website don't give me enough printing
option features that I had in Win98.  I can't do custom sizes....say like 5"
x34" long.
If I knew how to uninstall XP Home on this new machine, I would and I'd put

deskjet 882c printer.
I've tried self help all the way through. I have paper,ink and power.
I print almost every day and today I cant print anything.

I`ve lost my disc to install my printer.  can someone tell me if I can get
the information I need and download it to disc please.  My printer is an

I am able to send faxes using the fax console, but I cannot receive them.  I
have enabled receive in the software setup, and selected that the faxes be
stored in a folder.  I have a dedicated fax line, and I am using an Agere
Systems AC'97 fax modem.  

printer is very slow.  takes 2 minutes to do 2 page report.  Saw advice to
change parrell port bios to at or something else but not ecp or epp.  Mine
are on lpt1.  any new ideas?

I have xp and a Lexmark x6150 all in one printer fax.  Can I send a doc
directly to the fax thru the pc without printing then scanning again into the
fax? I don't have an internal modem.  I can print from the doc but not fax.  
Any help?

I cannot open faxes in the fax console when i double click on them.It shows
nothing.However when i select the option Mail to and then i click on the fax
to open it shows me a preview in Windows Image and Fax Viewer.Can anyone help

I have searched everywhere in XP and there is no longer a way to clear the
clipboard or show what is on the clipboard.  You can paste but you cannot
clear once the board is loaded.  Likewise when loaded you cannot view to find
out what is there!

Anyone know what happened to the Right+Click "Print" option that was in
Win98SE and Win2K?  I don't seem to have it in my new WinXP SP2.
