Thanks.  I tried reinstalling the drivers like you said, but it still
didn't solve things.  So I tried hooking the printer to another
computer and it wouldn't work on that one either, so I'm narrowing it

I have tried this before as recommended on windows help.  For some
reason when I hit preferences there is no security tab.   I have tried
surfing the preferences but no luck.  Also i have deleted all printers
