I have a client using a DOS based program running on Windows XP which needs
to print to a shared printer on another XP machine.  The share works fine
when printing from a Windows based program.  What do I have to do to get the
shared printer working on the DOS based program?

Microsoft Fax Console crashes when I launch it.
Removing it and adding it as a windows component didn't fix anything.
I see there are two versions of it under \WINDOWS\system32

here recently...my computer crashed and i had to completely re-install
everything on it again and rebuild it. now that i have all of that taken care

I have recently installed a clean copy of XP home (without SP2) on an
old 800MHz PC. I've setup one default account as Admin and no other
users. I have added an HP 840c printer using the latest drivers from HP

prints so slowly that you can hardly tell it's printing (one page
single-spaced takes ~15 min).  Originally installed w/ CD that came w/

The fax service refuses to automaticall start on Windows XP reboot. It is set
to start automatically but after reboot the services panel show fax service
as 'stopping' and the service cannot be altered from the services panel
(inaccessible - all options greyed).
