I am frustrated because I cannot get my FAX to send a FAX. I have done
everything in HELP but to no avail. I am connected to a phone line. I'm about
to drop kick this thing...just kidding. I need so help.

I have recently installed XP. I installed the fax program. The fax wizard
says I don't have a modem and when I choose " I will select a modem from a
list" , the hour glass just "hangs up" and I have to ctrl-alt-delete out of
the fax wizard. Any suggestiong? Thanks

Help - it starts printing ok, then stops mid way.  Sometimes it does a
little gap and then carries on, but that totally ruins a photo print.
Is it something to do with XP ? we have loads of free memory.
Helpppp please.

Just purchased a new Dell.   Like most new printers it has a built in fax
machine and I cannot get the fax machine to work with the answering machine.
On my old computer (which was 5 years old) I had a comswitch from my main

I'm aware that this subject has been discussed multiple times but I
have not seen a post with a working fix.
I have an XP sp 2 machine with firewall enabled and file and print
sharing exception checked.  I still do not get a print job

Hi, when I send or receive a fax (WinXP Home) the Fax Monitor box does not
pop up, although it is set to do so in the settings.
Faxes send ok, but no notification (No Fax Monitor & no sound alert) that
the send was succesful.

Using Dell AIO A920 printer with XP/SP2. Black ink level was down to 10%.
Ordered new cartridge but not yet installed. Ink level now showing 100%. Any
input would be appreciated. TIA.

the notification you get in XP any time you send a print job.  It is in your
system try and pops up a ballon with the printer information.  Does anybody
know where to turn this off?
