I have an mfp officejet printer/fax machine.  All I'm trying to do is have
any fax that comes into the machine somehow forwarded to me via email.  I've
search and downloaded several pieces of software without much luck. Aisde
from using one of those services requiring a new fax ...

I have a chicken & egg problem. My print spooler is not started. I tried to
start it and it says there are no printers. I try to add a printer and it
says my spooler has not started. I'm using XP Home Edition with SP2 and a
Canon i560 printer.

users laptop had previously several printers now they are not visible
add/remove printer wizard not working
tried sfc / scannow but still problem
tried adding with a disk a new printer which it says it did

I am unable to print anything from my laptop to main shared printer.I

My Mom recently installed a new HP All-in-One Printer-Scanner-Copier.

Before I install the Scanjet 640 with LPT1 interface, my hp 840c is working
properly but when I install the scanner and printer to a data switch my
printer now cannot print.. I try also uninstalling the scanjet but still my
printer is not working. Please help!

I go to printer and faxes, my printer is there and when I check to see if the
print spooler is running it says it is until I try to print. Then it comes up
with an error that says the spooler is not running. Please help.   Lisa

I'm having a problem configuring the fax on Windows XP Pro. When I go to the
control panel, open it up and try to add/remove windows components, I get
this error:
Setup was unable to open information file tabletpc.inf.

I am having trouble installing the fax software as introduced in the April
edition of the Windows XP mag. Doing everything that is asked, but when open
'Control Panel' and click Add/Remove Windows Components I get an error
message thus ....Setup was unable to open information ...

I have just bought a new computer with Windows XP Home. My old printer used
Windows 98. I have an Epsom Colour 760 printer. On my old computer the

wanted some of the pros out there to tell me a way i can the Canon bj-10sx
to start printing with the WinXP home edition - have loaded the drivers from
XP which implies that it is compatible but then thats where the buck stops!

Does anyone know how I can receive faxes when I also have an answering
machine (voice mail) that is connected with the same telephone line?

Unsucessful at installing fax. Have gone through control panel (add/remove
programs) and tried under "printers" - "set up faxing". The wizard says that
it was successful, but it still doesn't exist. When I go to start-all
programs-accessories-communications...the fax folder is ...
