Have just moved from ISDN with dedicated fax software to broadband & enabled XP fax. On sending a fax it opens OE address books, but not Outlook (OAB) where I have saved all my fax numbers!

I have an HP 810C printer. Every time printer is switched on it seems to stall after about 10 secs. If left for at least a minute it will spit out a blank page and be ready to print. If I press the purge buttom (which is blinking) the blank page ejects and the printer is ready ...

Is there a way to disable Fax Monitor from appearing when a fax is being received. One of our secretaries' computer is acting as fax machine, and the Fax Monitor box keeps poping up and distracting him whenever there is a new fax coming. We want to permanently hide this box.

I have a Dell Inspiron 4100 Notebook, with Microsoft XP SP2, and a HP LaserJet 1200 printer. I was told that I should not connenct my printer's parallel port to the computer while the computer is on, and if I do I will damage my parallel port.
