I have used MS fax for ages. Wimxp sp1 office 2003 pro. New pc 3.2g hyperthreading etc etc hangs and locks pc on receive. PC is standalone. Any suggestions.

XP workstations with SP2 on a Win2k Server network (Gigabit). Printing PDF docs takes extremely long time and printers spit out one page every few seconds as opposed to one after another. Tested a 20 page basic Word doc--no problem.

Both system help and online searching hasn't told me how to remove a TCP/IP Printer port from the system. Seems easy enough to create one can someone please tell me how to remove one or point me to documentation that describes the process.

i adjusted NAV 2005 to hopefully use fax, unchecking default trojan horse.... installed fax from control panel several times... but in accessories there is no fax console, only hyperterminal
