I'm setting up a number of Windows XP Pro systems on my network, AD Domain.
I see now that each time a new user logs into a system they do not have any
printers setup.  Even though I have installed the printers as the
Administrator.

Modem w/ SmartCP,and SBC DSL.  I have configured, enabled, and re-checked
settings repeatedly, but cannot send or receive faxes.

It works great.
When I put a new XP pro machine on the network, it will not work with that

I have been trying to get some of my dos based programs to be able to print
using windows xp.  so far I have not been able to make it happen.  I have
tried mapping the printer to my lpt port using the net use command and also
enabled printer pooling and neither has helped.  ...

When I try to add fax as a windows component in the control panel,  I get a
prompt for windows xp professional service pack 2 CD-ROM or i386 folder.  
Service Pack 2 is installed on my pc, I've done a search for the i386 folder
and found it in windows\driver cache but what do I do ...

Just for the records in Windows 2000 and Windows XP you cannot use the "Print
Screen" key to send the current screen to your default printer _unless_ you
use something like Gadwin utility, right?
So Print Screen should be "Screen Capture" rather than "Print Screen"!  I am

Had the same problem as BOB (26/1) in that I tried to add fax services after
installing XPProSP2 but the setup program claimed to be unable to find files
that seemed to be there.
Somehow this problem went away after I installed some optional updates.
Restricted user can't delete faxes01 Jul 2005 11:11 GMT1
A restricted user can receive faxes, but is not able to delete them.  Is
there a file, or program I can go additonal permissions or right to that will
allow the user to delete faxes after they have been received.  I have already
given everyone full control of fxsclnt.exe, but ...
