I saw a post in another group from someone who used to routinely fax
documents to himself which were then saved as images for file records.
In a situation now where there is only cell phone service the original
arraignment isn't an option.  Apparently this was more suitable than

I Have Win XP, Microsoft Office 2003 and use DSL. Is it possible to activate
the fax capability on MS Office with this combination. Please give specifics

I am trying to connect by telephone to my computer.  If I connect the phone
line to the telephone I get a dailing tone alright.  If I connect the phone
line to the computer first and then connect the computer to the phone with
another phone cable I do not get a dailing tone.

I am trying to install driver for my ooficejet 600.  It says to make sure the
ECP printer port is active.  When I follow the prompts my computer says
Printer Port LPT1 and does not say ECP as directed at the HP site.  How do I

My printer says there is a print job, and doesnt respond when i click
cancel or delete jobs.  Have gone into the print spooler but cannot

I am no programmer, but using information I found in this group I was able
to create a batch file that will route files to a network printer:
net use lpt1: "\\MANHATTAN\EPSON 1280" /PERSISTENT:NO
copy *.prn lpt1
