We have some Dell 1700N printers on our 2003K network and they worked fine.
We have just had windows updates over xmas and now they wont work. These are
the only models affected. They will reinstall but the system grinds to a halt
and they wont  print a thing.

When I turn on the computer and window comes up
saying that it is installing RFCLIENT 8.01 but needs CD.
I want to stop this from trying to install, and don't know where
to locate the windows install to cancell this.  Can anyone help?

I HAVE XP HOME EDITION O/S INSTALLED WITH THE ABOVE PRINTER, BUT THE INK
LEVEL TANKS SHOW EMPTY.  WHERE  CAN I GET THE UPDATED DRIVER, I HOPE  SOMEONE

Could some one please help me.  I have a Lexmark Z23 printer that moves and
acts like it's printing but yet nothing actually prints with ink on the
paper.  It is a newer barely used cartridge so it isn't an empty cartridge,
I've heard of soaking a cartridge in warm water I tried ...

On my Dell Dimension I have a program called Phone Tools which I have been
using to send faxes – Word docs, etc..
If I want to send a .pdf document I usually open the document and then
choose Capture Fax BVRP as the printer and send it that way.

Here is the scenario: I re-formatted my hard drive about a week ago (WIN-XP
Home edition) and updated the OS completely. Everything is current. I then

Whenever I run the ThinkVantage Rescue & Recovery backup tool (for Thinkpads),

I'm having trouble grasping the basics of using the xp fax console and set up.
So, two basic questions first of all;
1) I think there is some confusion going on regarding the dial up number for
my connection V the fax number of the intended recipient.
