Need help!  I cannot install an HP Photosmart 7760 due to above error.  I'm
running XP upgrade/SP2 (previously ME).  The printer installed fine on a
friends XP machine.  I've used HP support to change permissions, PID keys,
system restore, etc. with no luck.  Any help ...

two computers running windows XP Home.  desktop uses cable moden with
wireless router for laptop.  printer is network ready and is connected thru
the wireless router to the desktop.  can print from desktop with no problem,

We're having a problem with our network where the Fax Console is
"freezing" our Win XP boxes when faxing from an XP SP2 client out

Our Director just got back from a 2 week trip, plugged in his new Dell
laptop and finds he can't print to his connected printer HP 6P.  All he's
done on his side is defrag the HD.
We've deleted the printer twice and run "Install new printer".  It connects

the network printer I was using doesn't print anymore. I deleted the printer
and installed it again but the same result. I used the printer from another
PC with the same settings and it works. any idea what it may caused this

When printing exactly the same page from Adobe (similar results for Word &
Excel), the HP Laserjet 4100 produces a file that is just 200kb, whilst a HP
Laserjet 4200 produces a spool file of 5MB.
The drivers are both PCL5e, all other settings appear the same.

I have a HP Deskjet 3325 printer, and two computer in a network, an

I have a Dell USB Printer 964 and when trying to install it on windows
manually.Add Printer Wizard.Local Printer/No PnP.On the select Port Screen, i
dont see an option for a Virtual Printer Port.USB001.
Will you have to add a new port for USB in XP. What abt the drivers.

What drivers are people utilizing with the HP LaserJet 5L on XP and what port
settings are they using?  I am trying to print with no luck utilizing my HP

I sent a document to print from MS Word .The printer icon appears in the
system tray at bottom-right, but nothing happens with the printer. I
