I upgraded from Canon Pixma 4000 to Pixma 5200 but 5200 printer only
prints first job (perfectly I may add) and then goes into limbo for
about 8-10 minutes as the first job remains in the queue  and is even
difficult to remove manually.  I am using XP Prof SP2.   Have

I suddenly developed a slow printing problem with an Epson R800 (usb) but the
Epson 1520 (PP) is not effected.
When the print is ordered it takes a very long time for the order to reach
the printer. Printer then prints normally.

How does one print a window so that the contents, say files in the window,
are printed.  I'd like a hard copy of the files and docements in "My Folder",
for example.

I want to print multiple HTML files located in the same folder. I opened the
folder and select the files that wanted to print. Then, I pressed the right
button on the mouse and select "Print" from the menu. On some PCs, nothing
happened. On other PCs, I got the Print dialog box ...

Print spool has a two day old document at the top. I try canceling it.
I try restarting the Print Spooler service. I try rebooting. I try
power cycling the printer etc. NO! NO! NO!
My other documents cannot print due to this.

I have a problem I can't figure out. Both Dell and Microsoft will not help
without $$$. The computer is brand new...haven't even installed any software
on it yet.
Approximately every 68 seconds, I get the following in my event log:

When I right click one of my printers, one of the options is to 'Export
Profile...'  This creates a .dcf file.  What does this file contain, and
how, and for what purpose do I use this file.

I upgraded my home machine from Windows 2000 to XP Pro earlier this
week. Since then, I've been unable to reinstall my Canon S530D printer.
I've done the following:
1. Complete uninstall of drivers/software.

I get this error, and everyone seems to find it helpful to say uninstall/reinstall the printer.  If you dont have the printer and have had this error, please dont respond...  the uninstall/reinstall only solves the problem for 1, maybe 2 prints, if at all, then it comes back up ...

I have a photosmatr 1100 printer. It worked fine till recently. Now,
when I try to print, it takes approx. 4 to 5 minutes to start printing.

Is there a way to eliminate the XP pop message that happens everytime
something is sent to the printer?

I live in one of those huge metropolitan areas that have multiple area codes
for LOCAL phone numbers.  Everyone must always dial an area code to make
local calls, but WITHOUT the leading "1" (which distinguishes local from

Bought a refurbished OkiData ML 184 Turbo printer on EBay.  Hooked it up to
LPT1, but when I print, nothing happens on the printer end.  Changed cable,
deleted printer and re-installed.  Still no results. The printer prints a
test page without problem.  Hope someone can help.

i did a clean install of winxp from winme. My printer worked fine untill I
did this. Now the printer just sits there. I have chatted with hp techs and
have done everything they said. I tried a new parallel cable even another
