HELP!! I was on the phone with HP 2 hrs today and they could not help me.  
They told me that I must have a system problem...
I have a new HP 6540 deskjet...  I cannot install it all the way.  I can get
it to the point where my system gives me an error message:

Fax Console sends faxes OK but is unable to receive. Handshake signal takes
place but then I get the message "Receiving error" and no fax is
printed/saved/displayed.
How can I solve tihs problem

My  default printer keeps changing despite the printer I want having a higer
priority that other printers on my system.  How do I stop this happening?

Hello, I have Windows XP I noticed that one of the columns in the incoming
fax folder set up is "caller ID" . There is not one number in the column
which leads me to believe that something is not working because I know for a
fact that some of the numbers from which I receive ...

drivers however my  print speed has decrease substatntially to an almost
unacceptable point.  The only way around this is y using a generic text

We have several Okidata Microline 590 dot matrix printers with which we print
shipping labels and 4 part invoices.  We are able to print perfectly to these
printers from Windows 98SE, however, under Windows XP Pro the lines are
creepy up the papge until the invoice data begins ...

My printer still prints a menu page directly after any printing task. The
suggestion was made that I try using word and preview the print task which I
have tried there is no print menu or second page and it to a single page

Every time i turn on the printer to use it, it prints a test page. Why does
