Has anyone ever got the HP Laserjet 4L to print using the Windows XP
professional Operating System. I sure would be interested in knowing the

During my SP2 upgrade, I seemed to have lost all my printers in the Printer
and Fax folder. I attempted to reinstall printers, but when I click the ADD
PRINTER icon, I get the error message: OPeration could not be completed.
Printer spool is not running.

I installed an HP PSC1215 printer last year and it worked fine for a number
of months.  My OS is XP SP2.  The only additional hardware to be installed
since is a Logitech Web Cam.

Purchased a Parallel to USB cable with driver CD.  Supposed to be built-in

I'm switching to a new Puter(Home built). So far everything has gone
smoothly(Not my first build). I can Install the printer, but it will not
