I acnnot get the xp software to run. When in startup pc recognises new hardware , then begins to load software , at 95% states that cannot copy file as file already exists. How do I overcome to get software loaded.

Did a fresh install of xppro on Dell 4100 then installed HP photosmart 1115 with no problem and then tried to install the Lex X63 and it will not install - keeps telling me that there is no communication with the printer or that the cartridges are empty. I see the various icons ...

I have tried to install the Microsoft Fax software on my PC, but it asks me to insert the XP CD Rom. The problem I have is that my ROM drive is broken, can I download the small file anywhere? This leads on to my next question: have recently burned lots of DVD's (15)

My Dell 4300 came loaded with XP home and Works Suite 2001. I managed to delete a Microsoft scanning and imaging program that I needed. I downloaded Irfan, but don't like it. (I need it to scan/view medical records and reproducable forms).

Prior to the massive Microsoft updates this week, I was successfully using a Media Center PC as a print server on my home wireless network. I have a Canon S750 printer attached to the MC PC. I also have a XP home laptop which is wirelessly connected to my Linksys router.

I have an Empson Stylus C82 that will only print in black. I have checked the printer profile, and it states that it is printing in color. I've checked the ink cartridges, and all are full. When I print a test page however, all that prints is the black text, no colors. PLEASE ...

When printing from a Word or Excel or internet, type is REALLY light. The bold comes out as outlined letters. Printer self test page is perfect. Printer Toner Cartridge is brand new.

I am using MS Fax Console. I have faxes in both the Inbox and Sent items folders. When I double click on any of these to preview I get the message, "Operation cannot be completed" and the fax does not open for preview. What is going on?
