I'm using a Lexmark 4270 with a new Dell Dimension C521 running XP.
Anything printed on this printer is a mess, whether color or b/w.
There is the recognizable document visible, but the print is covered

I am trying to use the fax feature on my computer and I have a few questions.
When do I use 'dialing rules', when not?   We have high speed internet,
should I be hearing a dialing out for fax?
I am not having any luck with this and would appreciate any help I can get.

I have a friend that keeps getting this message when she tries to receive a
fax lately. She is able to send faxes however. Her modem driver is up to
date. I am not sure what is causing this problem. She has an agere modem.
