For some reason, I need to install the driver for my HP Deskjet 855C
evrerytime I plug it in on my laptop. Each time it is recognized as new
hardware, and I go through the installation wizard. Once installed, it works
fine, but it's a pain to have to do this everytime. Any ideas?

I can scan photos and documents, I can print from Paint Shop Pro XI.  I can
print a .txt document but with Word Perfect or my email programs, I'm told I
need to install a printer or that I have a spooler problem.
What should I do?

i need help to receive faxes through my pc instead of my fax machine, where
it wastes a lot of paper.  i have configured it through the wizard etc., but

I have a dedicated xp system set up for incoming faxes. Normally it recieves

This happens after each reboot. Have clikc on Start and selected Printer and
Faxes and set default printer fromn within. But after each reboot it always
reset back.

Running XP Home and am trying to add a printer whose driver appears on the
drivers available list.  I get an error message saying that the print spooler
isn't running.  The printer is connected through the USB port.
I've looked in "Help" and can find no obvious answer.

If i try to print from a webpage or web application I only get a a blank page
