I'd like to know if anyone could tell me how to
enable 'remote desktop' remotely.
I can connect to the remote computers registry, but I'm
unsure which values to change.

I have been using the Remote Desktop client from work on a
Win2ksp4 machine to connect to my home PC over DSL for

I am running Windows XP Pro and I have created a VPN

XP SP1 machines using Remote Desktop only get the option
to Disconnect a session. I can never Log Off and end the
session. I can only Disconnect and the session remains
active. How do I get the Log Off option ?

cursor is invisible, when you watch the actions locally
on the assisted PC. Is there any possibility to make the

Lost the start bar and all icons from screen. Tried
fixing with aol diagnistic and start bar and icons

I connected to my tsweb it asked me to download the
control I said yes and that was it, The Connect button is

I use Win XP Pro at work and at home and when I
disconnected from work today my computer at home rebooted.
It hung just before the XP Logo screen. I reset and it
hung again while startup folder items were loading. The

I have upgraded from Win2k to WinXP Pro; mostly this was
done to get the Remote Desktop services.  However, the
instructions for enabling the workstation for remote access
say to select the "Remote" tab on system properties window.
