Two xp-pro pcs that allow remote desktop via the wireless ad-hoc (no
router)lan connection.
My laptop client does not connect to the desktop if using broadband intenet
connection from work?

I can get a remote desktop connection to work by using the Application
sharing in Windows messenger, but there seems to be no way to get acess
through Remote destop using the web extension.
The main problem are that I have no Public IP number.

what can I do to stop this symbol '~'from popping up as a
desktop Icon on my computer ???? when you click on it and
open it up there is nothing there even though it shows
175KB of space I always send it to recycle bin and sooner

I want to use a remote desktop on my computer (host) so I

SWITHING. When I log on from a different computer to mine

router. I am trying to connect to my desktop computer from
