How does one find out if port 22 is blocked on my server?
I have been able to make connections when Terminal
Service is listening on port 8080, but what I really need

I am trying to use Remote Desktop from my office machine
(win2k) to connect to my home machine (xp pro) via the
Remote Desktop client (not web).  I am able to
successfully login to my machine - I can see the icon's on

Hi all,  I have setup a successful VPN from home to my
works computer, both running Win XP Pro and over a
broadband connection.
However, there is one thing that niggles, it is so slow.

I am running a xp machine and set it up to accept
incomming calls. The machine's internet connection comes
from ICS on another computer. Everything is set up and
works, only one problem. does not matter where i connect
