I enable my host computer to accept remote desktop connections.. but when I try to connect to it from other PC it gives me this error "The client could not connect to the remote computer.

I have a home XP attempting to connect to a remote XP via company's VPN. I a Linksys router between my cable modem and my home computer. I can telnet to the remote computer on port 3389 and I can also ping the machine and VNC to it.
