When I try to invite someone through remote assistance,
it tries to connect then comes back with error message:

I am trying to connect to my laptop from my desktop pc.
Both are running XP Pro. Both have been set up to allow

I have Windows XP-Pro installed on a machine, and I can control it
from any machine (i.e. NT40), using the Remote Desktop Client. When I
do so, I can see the desktop as if I were in front of my Windows XP
machine.

I can access my office computer remotely, but cannot get

what port does the client listen on?
