How can I enable port 3389 for remot access?

I have two computers in LAN network. Both computers have
the XP Home edition.
1. How I can use a remote desktop?
2. Do I have to change one computer to the XP Pro?

Is it possible to connect mulyiple users simultaneously
to a single computer via remote desktop?
