I must be missing something after trying to read up on Remote Desktop for
the last several hours. Here's my situation:
I have a LAN, with all of my PCs (3 XP-Pro machines) connected to a Linksys
router. The router is connected to my cable modem for internet access.

I've got a T1, a D-Link DI-804HV VPN firewall/router, a
peer-to-peer network and an XP Pro machine that acts as a
workstation and our workgroup server at the office.  At
the house, I've got another XP Pro, and a WIN98 SE machine

PC switches on when phone line recieves external call
would like to turn this off

That is, if I bring up a machine running RA, what are the chance that
