The remote win xp pro is connected to an ADSL router which also acts as the network hub. The pc has a corresponding Local Area Connection. Can I use the same connection to receive vpn calls or should I create a separate connection to receive vpn traffic from the same router/hub?

I have installed remote desktop on a windows XP computer. I am able to connect with the remote desktop client from a win 2000 computer, win XP home (pre service pack 1.) On these machines it works fine.

Ok, i have seen this problem loads of times on the news groups, have worked through them and not got any further. I have a Netgear RP614v4 router, i have several ports redirected to 192.168.0.1, including 3389.
