AFAICT remote desktop connection is more secure than VNC and is much faster.
Is there any reason I would use VNC?

I am trying to connect 2 my brothers computer with Remote Desktop.
Both mine and his computer are XP Home. I have viewed a few

I've been reading the posts and I am reluctant to routinely establish RDC

By mistake, while trying to reconfigure some bootup and shut down problems I
changed the settings in the registry that now when I turn on my comp and log
in on my administrator user password the computer shuts down and reboots

I am trying to connect to my work PC running XP professional from home
which runs the same OS. Remote Desktop is enabled and it works fine
when i try to connect from other PCs at work, which are ofcourse on
the same subnet.
