Can win XP do a passive connect, so the host can call the client to establish a the session. Is there such a feature? if yes, how to do it? Cheers.

I can't connect to my home pc when it's not already logged in. It didn't not happen some time ago. Is it related to some windows service pack/ updates? My win xp is updated with all service packs up to around march/april of 2004. This is very annoying, please help, thanks.

i found that ShowCursor Function can't make mouse cursor to be invisible when my program is calling ShowCursor (false); inside remote desktop environment. Any comment ? is it bug or just design limitation ?

I have two computers on a LAN (192.168.0.100 - Windows 2000 Server & 192.168.0.125 - WinXP Professional). I have a D-LINK DI-624 router. I created a DynDNS account and linked my router to it, so that I can access my computers via a domain: x.gotdns.com.

Problem: Windows XP freezes on remote startup (i.e., when disconnected from corporate LAN) after log in and desktop appears, but before system tray icons appear. When connected to corporate LAN in the office, no problems using the laptop.
