I have an interesting problem.
I have setup vpn connection at work using the linksys router (usual
802.11b)and everything seems to work fine. The vpn server is a windows
2003 server using the static ip address 192.168.1.*. The server

I have a desktop PC running a 'server' via RD and since a reinstall of
windows, whenever I access my RD machine I have to click the 'connection bar
pushpin' to make it auto-hide.

I have employees who VPN into my Windows 2000 server.
This has worked flawlessly for the last couple of years.
We recently updated a laptop to SP2. When we make the VPN

Have two Windows Server 2003 VPN Servers:
- server1 behind NAT device
- server2 behind a router
- IAS for RAS/VPN authentication on server 3

I used to RD into an XP Pro machine through an SSH tunnel by forwarding my
local port 3390 to the remote port 3389.  I would then connect to RD client
to localhost:3390 and all was well.  The remote machine is now updated (I
don't dare say upgraded yet!!) to SP2 and the remote ...

I'm attempting to set up a L2TP VPN connection from an XP
box to a 2003 box.  I have the CAL downloaded from the
2003 machine and installed on the XP machine.  However,
when I go to connect, the response that comes back is

I'm logged on to my WinXP system with Remote Desktop Connection and I'm
logged in as the Administrator on my machine, but the Administrative Tools
folder in my start menu is empty.  I am a Win2000 user and new to XP, any
help would be appreciated.

Currently I have WXP PC's.  However, when I upgrade a W2K
